Shën e Premte

The Church of Shën e Premte is located in the picturesque coastal village of Lukovë, just 20 kilometers from Saranda.

Dating back to the 1600s, the church sits on a hill with a beautiful view of the Ionian Sea. It features six columns with arches, adding to its historical charm.

Once, the church had a bell gifted by the King of Naples in 1695, but it was lost in 1967 during the mass destruction of churches and mosques under Enver Hoxha’s regime.
